Yopi
Yopitech
Yopi is a wearable health platform for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Built around a proprietary biosensor, it measures electrolyte levels directly from the skin, physiological markers linked to cardiovascular health. The design challenge was to integrate the sensor, battery, and electronics into a refined wearable product while maintaining comfort, performance, and manufacturability. The result is a sleek accessory whose form, CMF, and detailing express the brand beyond the technology itself.
SonicFrame
Insight Acoustics
SonicFrame is a wearable technology demonstrator developed for Insight Acoustics to showcase its spatial sensing platform. Using ten ultrasonic sensors and an integrated camera, the glasses map the surrounding environment and allow users to hear the area they are looking at, translating visual space into an acoustic experience. Designed for early adopters and tech investors, the product embraces bold geometry, expressive CMF, and a sculptural presence that reflects the disruptive nature of the technology.
Ergo V
Admetec
Rethinking the conventional loupe for surgical, dental, and veterinary work, Ergo V by Admetec combines variable magnification with an ergonomic, precision-focused experience. The exterior design, CMF, and visual language established a new design direction for the Admetec product portfolio, using the magnification dial as both a functional focal point and a defining visual element. The project set the foundation for a more distinctive and cohesive brand identity across future products.
Iiri
Baccara
Designed as Baccara's first consumer-oriented product, Iiri brings connected irrigation to both gardening enthusiasts and professional horticulture. The exterior and internal architecture were developed around a demanding IP68 sealing strategy, concealing all fasteners while maintaining a clean, approachable form. Inspired by a flower bud with two leaves, the form and CMF translate Baccara's irrigation heritage into a distinctive, contemporary product identity.
Alveoli
[ client / NDA ]
Alveoli addresses the psychological barrier associated with conventional nasal squeeze devices by transforming liquid medication into a fine aerosol mist for inhalation. The design replaces a direct and intrusive interaction with a more intuitive delivery experience, focusing on making an inherently medical procedure feel approachable, controlled, and less intimidating. Form, ergonomics, and interaction were carefully developed to support greater user acceptance.
Studio
I'm Adi Alfia. I've been designing physical
products for over 20 years, the last 8 running
my own studio in Tel Aviv. My work spans
several sectors, primarily wearable technology,
consumer electronics and medical devices.
It centers on product architecture, visual
identity and tactile experience. I carry
a product the full distance, from first vision
to tooling. Alongside my practice I lecture
in the industrial design department at HIT.
